Policy & Agreement
Price and specifications of products are subject to change. We will however do our best to keep them as accurate as possible.

We accept the following payments:

We do accept Cheques, Money Orders, and Bank Transfers. However, we will only ship products after these payments have been cleared.

We reserve the right to cancel any credit card approved and authorized orders due to the following reasons:
Orders paid by credit cards not issued by UK banks or other domestic financial institutions.
Either the shipping or billing address of the orders is located outside the United Kingdom.
The message generated by the credit card processing company shows that the verification of the credit card is incomplete.


International Purchases and Shipments
We regret that we're unable to support International purchases or International shipments at this time.


Shipping
We are usually able to offer a "Next Day" service for orders received before 12:00 p.m. UK Time depending on the availability of the products. All shipping dates are approximate and are based upon current availability of products and prompt receipt of all necessary information. Please inspect your shipment carefully upon arrival. Customers have 7 days from the date of accepted delivery to report any discrepancy between that ordered and actually shipped, damages due to shipping, and shipping error. Synapse UK Limited is not responsible for any errors or omissions after 7 calendar days. All deliveries are insured and guaranteed against loss, theft and damage. However, Synapse UK Limited will not be personally liable for any damage, loss, fault or expenses arising out of delays in shipment or other non-performance of this Agreement caused by or imposed by:
strikes, fires, disasters, riots, acts of God; acts of customer; Governmental action; or any other cause or condition beyond Synapse UK Limited’s reasonable control in the event of any such delay or non-performance.


Value Added Tax
All items are liable for Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 17.5%. Synapse UK Limited is registered for VAT - registration number GB 689 2755 70.


Refunds
All items except otherwise mentioned, may be returned within 10 days from the original invoice date for a refund. We reserve the option to accept or reject non-defective returns. Merchandise must be packed securely and be returned to Synapse UK Limited undamaged, and must include original packaging, manuals, warranty cards, documentation, and all other accessories. A return authorization number is required for all returns whereupon a 15% restocking fee will apply. All items have at least a one year manufacturer's warranty.

Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns for refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable. No refunds are available after 10 days.


Technical Assistance
As a rule, Synapse UK Limited will provide support only for products supplied by Synapse. Support for other products (or products supplied by Synapse which are found to be not faulty) may be offered however charges will apply. Please see here for current rates. Our Technical Support Department will do its best to answer all pre-sales and post-sales questions. Due to the variety of the product categories, brands and manufacturers, technical specifications and standards, we do not guarantee the support and advice provided by our department will work in each case. Your may be required to seek assistance from the manufacturers' technical support.


Order Processing Time
You can expect your order to be processed within approximately one to two "business" days, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with the payment verification. Synapse UK Limited does not guarantee same day shipping. Orders are processed on weekdays between 09:00 and 18:00 and most weekends (dependant on staff availability), however weekend orders will only be shipped on Monday.


Back Orders
A few orders may take extra days to process and ship, due to low stock quantity at the time of processing. You will be contacted if a delay occurs. Any items that are unavailable will be placed on back order, and the remainder of your order will be shipped. We will inform you regarding the back ordered item's estimated time of arrival. Please note that these dates are "estimates" and not guarantees of arrival. You are encouraged to read our Terms & Conditions before you place your orders. Once you have placed your orders, we assume that you have already read and thoroughly understand and accept the terms and condition stated herewith.


Warranty
Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Modifying a product in a permanent way is considered physically damaged. Physical damage voids any warranty previously implied for any product. Warranty is not granted if a product is received without original invoice. Warranty is void if serial tags, receiving numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is void if mishandling, improper use, or defacing of the product that would normally void manufacturer's warranty has occurred. Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned for RMA purposes are not granted warranty coverage. Before attempting any modifications to any product it is in the purchasers best interest to wait until the warranty period has expired. "Modding" any product while it has a warranty will void any warranty or support.


Privacy
Synapse UK Limited respects your privacy. We will not under any circumstances sell or release your information to anyone. All of the information obtained from our web site, will be used for processing purposes only. The only e-mail you will receive from Synapse UK Limited, are updates to any recent orders, unless you signup for our newsletter.


Change Orders
You may request a change to your order, provided your order has not already been processed and shipped. Please e-mail your exact changes, order number, and customer ID number to our processing department at orders@synapseuk.com. You can expect a confirmation of your change within approx. one business day.


Price Matching
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer price matching. For your convenience, all of our most current and lowest pricing is posted on our web site daily.


Limited Liabilities
The seller (Synapse UK Limited) here expressly disclaims liability and shall not be responsible in relation to our products or services for incidental, consequential, and contingent damages of any kind or nature, including without limitation: damages to persons or property, whether a claim for such damages is based upon warranty, contract, tort or otherwise; damages due to or arising out of the loss of data; or lost profits.

Prices for all computer products fluctuate due to market demand and supply. Synapse UK Limited does not offer any type of price protection whatsoever.

In no event shall we be liable for any programs or data stored in or used in conjunction with any merchandise sold, the cost associated with recovering such programs or data, or any incompatibilities between the merchandise sold and any hardware or software used by the customer.

In no event shall we be liable for any expenses incurred by the customer for any installation done by someone other than us.

In no event shall Synapse UK Limited have liability (whether under the theories of breach of contract or warranty, negligence or strict liability) in excess of the purchased price paid for the goods.


Governing Laws and Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of, or related to the sales transaction between Synapse UK Limited and the Customer shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Synapse UK Limited and the Customer consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of the Courts of the United Kingdom to resolve any dispute between them, and the parities waive all rights to contest this exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such Courts. The Customer also agrees not to bring any legal action, based upon any legal theory including contract, tort, equity or otherwise, against Synapse UK Limited that is more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice.


Policy Against Counterfeit Products
Synapse UK Limited does not intentionally, willingly, or knowingly buy, sell, distribute or manufacturer any counterfeit products, hardware or software, that are in violation of any copyright laws. We require all of our vendors and manufacturers to make the same pledge.


OEM and Retail Product Requirements
Some manufacturers place limitations on certain versions of OEM or retail products to certain markets. Synapse UK Limited believes that it is up to the buyer to make a decision on whether they meet such manufacturer requirements. It is almost impossible for us to screen all customers for this purpose. By placing an order with Synapse UK Limited, the buyer agrees that the buyer has qualified for such products and Synapse UK Limited is not responsible for any subsequent problems, if any.

Synapse UK Limited is not responsible for any typographical error on this web site .

Synapse UK Limited reserves the right to cancel an order for merchandise that has been advertised in error, is unexpectedly out of stock, does not conform to specifications, or shipped in error.
