Here's the most effective way to use our
MailProtector service:
1. Every day you'll get a digest report (click
here
to see a sample report) for each email
address that had spam quarantined.
2. The report will only show newly quarantined messages for the previous 24 hour
period. Therefore if no spam has been sent to fred.smith@123.com on
Tuesday we won't send a report for fred.smith@123.com on Wednesday.
Please note that the MailProtector servers are based in
the USA so all dates relate to GMT - 5 timezone.
3. There's no need to login each day to clear out your quarantine. The
spam is deleted after 10 days automatically and each spam email will only be
displayed on one report. For tracking purposes logs are kept for 30 days.

*** Simply glance through the report for anything that looks genuine. If all look like junk just delete the report email - job done! - and you can forget about your spam for another day. *** *** If there's something that catches your eye that you'd like to release, however, login to MailProtector above and choose to release the email to your mailbox. *** *** As a further option you may wish to add the sender to your "allow list" (the whitelist) of friendly senders so that any future messages from them will pass through MailProtector. *** |
Most spammers use fictitious email addresses or
use addresses only once so there's usually no point in adding addresses to your
"deny list" (blacklist) unless you really want to.
